Rock Hill, SC has been coined as Football City USA because we turn out more NFL players per capita than any other city in the USA!  From Rick Sanford to Mason Rudolph, we’ve made a mark on NFL history.  

In the summer of 2019, the Rock Hill Schools, the Rock Hill Schools Education Foundation along with NFL players who are alumni from Northwestern, Rock Hill, and South Pointe high schools, hosted the district’s first-ever Football City USA Skills Camp and Night of Champions banquet.

The Night of Champions featured a VIP meet-and-greet with current and former NFL players in addition to a dinner and program on Friday, June 28, 2019, at Southern Charms Events. Proceeds benefitted all three high school’s athletic programs and the Foundation’s Grant Program. 

Led by Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, Mason Rudolph, players in attendance included Chris Hope, Rick Sanford, Tori Gurley, Jaleel Scott, Derek Ross, Jonathan Meeks, Montay Crockett, and Ko Simpson.

Ben Watson made a special appearance to VIP guests at a morning-after event hosted by Knowledge Perk and Dust Off Brewing.
