Rendezvous au Zoo
Students learned French lyrics and created accompanying gestures; made Rousseau-inspired artistic creations to enhance either the setting or the actual dance performance, and danced and sang to “their animal” from the music of Carnival of the Animals by Saint-Saëns. Selected students presented original drawings in French and an introduction of Rousseau and Saint-Saëns.

Cinderella Goes International
Northside Elementary School of the Arts performed Cinderella Goes International. The students studied other versions and picked a theme to write their own version of Cinderella.
Future Caregivers of the Earth
The Children’s School Project taught the children in Ms. Page, Ms. Lori, and Ms. Jen’s class how to garden. They planted vegetables and fruit trees while learning about the environment.
Five Golden Rings
Student’s in Mrs. McCallum class at Belleview Elementary performed songs and speeches in the musical. They gained an understanding of different musical forms.
