Foundation Awards $5,300 in grants to Rock Hill Schools

Hi-Tech Gala Raises Over $200,000 for Rock Hill Schools
A capacity crowd of 350 guests at the Rock Hill School District Foundation’s Hi-Tech Gala on March 5 celebrated a record $204,000 raised by the event. Funds will benefit the Rock Hill Schools iRock initiative which seeks to provide every student in grades 4-8 with a mobile learning device, an iPad, that empowers them as 21st century learners and workers. Back the Pack with Winthrop Basketball

We are excited to once again be a part of Back the Pack with Winthrop Basketball. On Saturday, February 23 all community members will get in free to both the Women’s (1pm) and Men’s (4pm) Winthrop Basketball games with a donation to Back the Pack. At last year’s event over 6,000 pounds of food was collected for Back the Pack. We also received more than $3,500 to continue the work (continued)

Hi-Tech Gala to help Rock Hill Schools move forward with 21st Century Learning

The Rock Hill School District Foundation announced today that we are leading the way to reach community businesses and individuals willing to invest in the next generation of community leaders. Kicking off their 25th year, Foundation members Colleen Coesens and Jennifer Graham detailed the Foundation’s commitment to excellence and announced the upcoming Hi-Tech Gala to support 21st Century learning.
