Rock Hill awarded the America’s Promise award

Rock Hill was recently awarded the 2011 America’s Promise award by the America’s Promise Alliance. This is the fourth time the city has won the award. Phi Theta Kappa of York Tech service project with Back the Pack

The Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society of York Technical College recently completed a volunteer project with Back the Pack. This project was part of the Phi Theta Kappa Carolinas Region 2011 Service project, “Hand In Hand Together We Can.” The goal of this service project was to give back to the community. Rock Hill School District Foundation receives Wells Fargo Grant

To commemorate the conversion of Wachovia Bank to Wells Fargo Bank, Wells Fargo awarded a $10,000 grant to nonprofits supporting each of the school districts in York County.   The presentation of awards was held at a commemorative ceremony on Thursday, September 22nd at Wells Fargo on Main Street. Each District Superintendent rode in the Wells Fargo Stagecoach through the streets of downtown Rock Hill.
