Who We Are and What We Do

Our Mission Statement

The Rock Hill School District Foundation will promote a collaborative alliance between the community and the Rock Hill School District Three to provide funding and other resources to support educational initiatives.

What We Do

The Rock Hill School District Foundation is a collaborative alliance between the Rock Hill community and the Rock Hill School District Three which promotes academic excellence.  Founded in 1983 as a nonprofit organization, the Foundation is independently managed by a volunteer Board of Directors who represent all aspects of the Rock Hill community.  Major initiatives supported by the Foundation include:

Teacher Grant

Grants to educators to support classroom innovation and creativity.

Back the Pack

Back the Pack, a program that provides food for malnourished students on weekends when school meals are unavailable.

 Initiatives

Launching new and innovative educational initiatives that benefit teachers and students.  The most recent being the ShareHouse supply zone, an exchange store for educators that allows them to shop for classroom supplies in exchange for volunteer hours.
